A great video is a sequence of moving pictures
Following the traditional process of cinematography and documentary storytelling, we build each story around the foundation of Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey. We strive to experience that journey alongside of you, a process we describe as elevative.
CONCEPTUALIZING + SCRIPTING
Before presenting a great story, there needs to be a detailed plan. Like a blueprint is to architecture, the importance of pre-production to a successful shoot is crucial. Shot list, storyboards and a great script is the foundation to a great story. There is no such thing as over-planning.
PRODUCING + DIRECTING
It takes an army of talented individuals to come together and assist in telling a great story. It also takes a great producer to be able to see the talents in others and forming a crew and cast to execute the Director's vision. As a producer and director, the leader and guide will always be the story on set.
CINEMATOGRAPHY + LIGHTING
All images start with light. The quality, color and placement of a light instrument determines the emotion of the story. The motion of the camera and how it is lensed can do the same. When combined, the proper emotions are made visible and the story is revealed.
